- Specify differences between positive displacement pumps and centrifugal pumps
- Explain the importance of viscosity as it relates to the operation of positive displacement pumps and how they are protected against over-pressurization
- Identify positive displacement pumps as one of the following: reciprocating pump, power pump, rotary pump, gear pump, lobe pump, vane pump, peristaltic pump, two-screw type pump, three-screw type pump, diaphragm pump.
